specific item. Just click on the and a popup window
with help text is displayed.

How do I change my password?
|
Click on the "My Account" menu item to the left and then the "Password" button. Enter
your old password and then your new password twice. Click the "Save" button when done and
your new password is immediately changed.

Is there a quick way to find a state in a drop down list?
|
Yes. Press the key for the first letter in the name of the state. If it is not the first one
shown, just press the key for the letter again until the correct one is shown.

Where can I find information about a company that is a member of Carload USA?
|
Click on the "Search Companies" menu item to the left. Then enter one or more words
(or parts of words)
from the name of the company that you are looking for. Click on "Find" and
a list of companies matching your search criteria is shown. Click on the name in the
list and more information about that company is displayed, including their ICC/MC number,
broker bond information and insurance information. We cannot guarantee that this
information is correct so please verify the information independently for companies
that you consider doing business with. For your convenience, we provide links that
bring up the most current SAFER and FMCSA information for the company in question.

Are there other options for entering loads than manual entry online?
|
Bulk upload is available if you are handling too many loads for the manual entry
online to be practical. We support various file formats and you can either upload the
file online for instant processing or email it to us in which case it would normally
be processed within a minute. We also have options for updating
loads in real time directly from your computer system.

I already post my loads with Central Dispatch! Is there an easy way for me to post
my loads with Carload USA too?
|
Yes! If you use the automated upload, you can just add our email address to your system so
that all emails go to us too. If you enter load information manually, you can use our toolbar
to send a copy of the load information.

Can I define my own route?
|
Yes, you are not limited to only single destination states or pre-defined
areas of states. Select "Multiple Destination Selection, then define your own
area by just putting a check mark by each state code or you can select the
states by clicking on them on a map.

Can I also select to see loads that are available along the way and for the way back?

Yes. Just check the "Include Intra Area Loads" option.

Yes. Click the "Save this selection" option and enter a descriptive name for it,
e.g. MI to FL route. This view will then be saved when you click the "View Loads" button.

How do I use my "Saved Views"?
|
When you have saved views, a dropdown list is shown at the top of the view
selection page. Select your saved view from this list and the click on the
"Load Selection" button. You can then either click the "View Loads" button to
use the selection as is or you can modify it before you use it.

Can I select to only get loads that were added since the last time I used this "Saved View"?
|
Yes. After loading the saved view that you want to use, go to the bottom
of the selection page. There you can see the date and time when this view was
used last time. Mark the "Include only posts made after …" and loads added or
changed after that time will be shown.

Or can I just select to be notified whenever a load that matches my selection becomes available?
|
Yes, just click the check box for this just over the View Loads button or click the Email
Notification button on the search result page.

How do I print load information?
|
Click on the "Printer Friendly" button to get the page reformatted in
an optimized format for printing and then click on the "Print" button to print it.

Can I request a load by email or fax without having to retype any information?
|
YES! Just click on the "Fax/Email" link by the load you are interested in, fill in expected pickup and
delivery date and any notes, then click on the "Send" button to send by email or "Print" to send the
request by fax.
